Yolanda Vlorie is the founder of The Dionte Freeman Foundation Inc. Born in Alameda, Ca in 1972 and raised in Oakland, California. Yolanda attended Oakland Public Schools and holds a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development. She is also an entrepreneur and a community activist. She formed this Foundation after the tragic and senseless loss of her son Dionte M. Freeman who was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting, June 20, 2011 while visiting with his family. following this, she lost two of her nephews Czerny L. Scott who was shot sitting in his car while picking up his children from school November 16, 2015 and then Daemiion Yaphet 2nd who was shot and killed while playing Billiards at a nightclub April 15, 2018 all of these tragedies happened in the city of Oakland where she was raised. She decided to do something, As opposed allowing these tragedies to sit in her heart and fester into anger, violence, and retaliation she decided it was time to be proactive. She founded the Dionte Freeman Foundation Inc. not only to help support people who've endeared tragic loss to senseless gun violence and murder. She founded it to take a proactive approach and perhaps prevent these types of Senseless tragedies from occurring. Through the Dionte Freeman Foundation Inc Yolanda is using her resources and networking to provide Financial educational and Community Resources to help eradicate the senseless inner-city violence and tragedies that have impacted so many families. Yolanda is a strong voice in the Bay Area Community. She is a strong believer that through her activism and education and Financial safety nets for at-risk communities that there will be Independence and self-sustainability to protect the community from the pitfalls and traps of inner-city and at-risk populations.
Anthony E. Grayson (President / Executive Director / Pastor) is a dedicated pastor and community leader based in Oakland, California. Born and raised in Oakland on August 14,1965, he has a strong connection to his community and has been actively involved in various initatives to support and uplift others.
Anthony attended both Oakland public schools and Oklahoma public schools, gaining a well-rounded education that helped shaped his future endeavors. He holds a PHD in religious studies, reflecting his deep commitment to spirituality and his desire to serve others through his faith.
For the past 20 years, Anthony has served as a pastor and a founder of a non-denominational church in Oakland, where he provides guidance, support, and spiritual leadership to his congregation also President of Dionte Freeman Foundation Inc. In addition to his work in the church and the foundation, Anthony has also owned his business since 2012, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to success.
Family is a significant aspect of Anthony's life, as he is married with two children. One of his children has graduated from Cal State long Beach, while the other is currently enrolled in his freshman year at Cal State Fullerton. Anthony takes pride in his family and strive to instill values of education, hard work, and compassion in his children.
Beyond his professional and familial responsibilities, Anthony is actively involved in the juvenile system in Alameda County, serving as a Chaplain and mentor volunteer. His commitment to helping at-risk youth navigate challenges and find a positive path forward demonstrates his dedication to making a positive impact in his community.
Pastor Anthony E. Grayson's multifaceted background and dedication to serving others make him a respected figure in Oakland and beyond.His leadership, compassion, and commitment to faith and community service are admirable qualities that have inspired and uplited many.
Dwayne E. Jones Jr. (CFO) is a dedicated Chief Financial Officer with a degree in finance. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Dwayne is deeply commited to community activism and political change. He works tirelessly with grassroots social programs to raise funds and support activities aimed at keeping youth away from gangs and drug violence. Dwayne's passion for making a positive impact on his community shines through in everything he does, and he is determined to create a better future for the next generation.
Antjuan Webb Sr. (Vice-President / Assistant Pastor) is a dedicated individual with a strong foundation in Ministry, having served for over 20 years as a non-denominational assistant pastor. Born in Berkeley, CA in 1967 and raised in Oakland, California, Antjuan's educational journey took him from Catholic schools to public schools in Oakland, including Skyline High School and Oakland Tech. He holds a Doctor of Religious Education degree, reflecting his commitment to spiritual growth and leadership in his community.
Despite facing personal tragedy with the loss of his son to violence, Antjuan remains steadfast in his faith and dedication to serving others. He is a proud parent to four children, each on their own unique educational paths from elementary to college. With a heart for guiding and supporting others on their spiritual journeys, Antijuan Webb Sr, continues to make a positive impact as an Vice- President of Dionte Freeman Foundtion Inc. and Assistant Pastor at House Of Restoration,offering wisdom, compassion, and a strong connection to his community.
Carrie Parker: (Community Advocate): hightlights Carrie's unique contribution to our group, as she is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Carrie's strong voice and expertise in Chinese culture make her a valuable asset in community activism. She is able to provide translation services for the Asian community and embodies our dedication to diversity and representation for all.
Regina Vlorie ( Advocate) has dedicated a significant portion of her career to meeting the social and economic needs of at-risk and low-income citizens in inner cities. With a wealth of experience in this field, she brings the expertise and understanding necessary for Dionte Freeman Foundation Inc to progress and make a positive impact in the community. Her passion for helping others and her commitment to social justice make her a valuable asset to the organization. With Regina leadership, the foundation is poised to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
Valarie Vlorie: Valarie is a volunteer and Supervisor at Highland Hospital. Her experience is in working directly with mental health patients in hospitals and in the community. She maneuvers through the city reaching out to people and families directly offering them help and assistance.
Kwame Blackwood: Youth Advocate & Counselor: Kwame's focus is on providing mentorship and guidance of the youth against drugs, suicide, and violent crime. Kwame also help educate youth and maintain their rights in society while aiding in skill developement in area of life such as housing, health, education, and employment.
